I think they invented toothpaste back in the 1700's. Though they chose (wisely) to continue the ago old practice of cleaning teeth and gums with aged tea leaves.

I knew a Welsh lady once. Her teeth were really really brown. Almost orange. And she looked a little like Paul McCartney. Except more manly.
